Do you think that you should tell your family or friends what you want for Christmas or just be grateful for what you have?         

                  People want presents that they want. And people don't like the fact that they get a lame present that they don't want. Every single person on Earth would want to and I mean want to get a present that they want. Getting a gift is like a dream come true. It is a fact that most people get gifts every year for Christmas. People weather decide they want to tell their family or friends what they want for Christmas or just be grateful for what they have.  
                             Telling your family or friends what you want is good because then you will able to or achieve that gift. For example, your dream is to get a doll for Christmas, you can tell your parents that you want that present, and you'll finally  have it for once and for all. If you told that person what you want, they can tell what they want. For example, a little girl wants a teddy bear and she told her friend that she wanted that and now that her friend knows, so decides to tell the little girl what she wants. It can give the listener in mind what their friend/relatives want for the holiday. Expose, Anna doesn't know what to give for her aunt, so she tries to ask her aunt what she likes, plus she overcomes her fears of asking. Those are good examples to keep in mind.
                                Being grateful for what you have is good idea I say, because you gives the power to be nice. You say why? Expose, if I gave you a gift that is a helicopter and you think it is lame and I spend all my allowance all just for you, wouldn't it be nice? Maybe a little? Well, here is why. That means I care about and I pretty much was like a friend to you. If you gave me a gift, I would be thousand times grateful to you! Because at least I got a gift and I am happy for it, and that means I know you really well now. Anyways, it will give you a surprise too what your getting as a present. Being grateful is a gift of honor of being kind and a good person.
                                 As my opinion, I would rather be grateful than telling my friends or family what I want for Christmas. But I am not saying telling anyone what you want is bad. Being grateful I like a lot because I like being nice and being nice means that other person is going to be nice too by just being grateful. I always did been grateful through out my life and I will continue!

Dear Santa

            Dear Santa
Christmas is a wonderful, wishful holiday where you get your wishes and they all come true.  You travel around the world giving children gifts that they always dreamed of. A cell phone is what I always dreamed and wished for all my life.  Santa Claus, if I  ever had one, I would use it for good purposes not like some people who just text all the time just for fun.  To tell you, I been dreaming for this for this for years waiting for to see you giving me for the first time, a cell phone.

                 It would be used for certain and good reasons like if I get lost and I need some one's help to help me or actually help them too so I can just call them.  Or if you say you need a little info about a project, homework, an assignment, and other info.  However, it is useful for being happy and once in while calling your friends because it also good for talking to friends to help you support.  This supreme technology has  a privilege to call,family, friends, and anyone.  It also has the privilege to take pictures of ourselves, friends and families, or anyone that you like to take.  It gives  weather for the week so we when it rains or snows or is it sunny or cloudy.  It helps us know when school is closed or if what the weather is it gonna be like for school to dress appropriately weather it is cold or hot like the summer.  Info about the world, it also gives to know data and amazing things that you may not know.  Texting is important because if you can’t able to speak or your not available to speak, you can try a thing called texting.                                                                                                                                                                                 I  really worked hard though out the years working on papers and assignments, so I think I deserve a gift.  Never in my entire life I got in trouble in home, school, and anywhere.  No matter what, I get good grades because I earn it by studying and listening.   To the end of this, I will tell you that when I grow a little older, I spent spent this money by my self by selling some stuff.   When I have one, I will promise to never lose this.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Ending this part, I will have to say,  I will use a cell phone wisely and never use it just for fun but for certain reasons and purposes!   Even though if you will give  a cell phone or not, I will still achieve this goal by my self.   Just thank you what have you done.

          Thanksgiving is a holiday with feasts and food for a treat. Didn't you ever thought who made up Thanksgiving and why? Well, not all people know this. The Wampanoag Indians and the Plymouth had a holiday where they shared feasts in a fall season which was known as Thanksgiving in 1621. Soon Thanksgiving devolved into other countries, colonies, states, and towns. In 1863, during the civil war, President Abraham Lincoln held Thanksgiving Day in November. Now you know a little info about Thanksgiving about when, who, and why did it begin. I hope you  share this and tell this about to your friends and family. And I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

        Do you know what time it is when you have lots of food and thank yous? It is THANKSGIVING! Our holiday what america celebrates. It is a special holiday where you eat and thank everyone who is a friend, neighbor, a teacher and everyone in the entire world. Yes indeed. What I do is eat apple pie because it is yummy and that is a treat for what I have been thankful for. I also eat in a big table with my brother, mom and dad and even my friends. We all do this because we all did something for each other. THANKSGIVING ROCKS!!

         Blogging helped me connect global audience by commenting on other peoples stories, or posting my own stories about me and others that help the reader understand. Connection meant to me as a awesome gift because I can able to comment to each other and able to know each other what they say.  I made a few friends like Wamia and Vaishnavi by just commenting each others blog and looking at each others blog. I always show passion with others by posting posts about myself that quite are interesting or about other people maybe are funny or things that are funny and things that people never heard of. I learned a lot about other cultures by listening or by looking at other peoples posts about what they do at home or in there country that they visit or lived there before and what kind of things they do in festivals that I never heard of like do they pray, sing, dance, ect.....    Anyways, blogging helped me show to share views because of publishing or editing posts that I have created most of the time. That is why blogging helped me!

On Thanksgiving, people thank others who helped them. Freedom is the most important thing that I am thankful for. Freedom gives us the power to eat, talk, read, and write. It also makes me feel very happy that I can do all these things. I feel bad to the people who didn't have any freedom. They probably had a terrible life. I am proud that I am able to do these things so I can get a  better education, maybe even better talents, friends, and a happy family. So this is why I thankful for freedom and that is why wrote this letter.

                 Halloween might be scary but it is also an exciting holiday. Halloween is all about trick or tricking and the candy! I been trick or treating since I was in Kindergarten. The most important part of Halloween is, the time I went with all my friends for trick or treat, Namratha, Pratik, Sai, Hrishi, Rohan, Srinidhi, Daksh, and Aayush. Who would hate trick or treating or candy?
                
                  While getting candy, I go to people's houses in my complex and ring their doorbells. " Trick or treat!!' we all yell. You know what time is it when you say trick or treating? CANDY TIME!! Halloween makes me special because it is exciting, enjoyable, and a fun event. I think this holiday as a relaxing  event after school because after school, you have Halloween and fall break. THAT IS GREAT!
            
                I would recommend this as a super and amazing gift to us because it has fun quality. Who wouldn't say Halloween is awsome? Anyways, this is my favorite holiday because of all the candy, funny and scary costumes, the time where you at least have time with your friends at the night and most importantly, the fun time you have. Enjoy and have fun until this holiday comes again. Halloween is COOL!!!!!

The men and women , who fought in the military to protect America were our

real heroes.Every time the word " GO" ,they were ready to protect our lives and our nation as a whole.That is why, I call them "Heroes".

Freedom of speech , is one of our needs of our daily life without which we can't

image to live .It gives us choices of living in our life and education .I give freedom ,the best from all of the great gifts ,our service men and women gave us .That is why I call them "Heroes".

The great American flag has blazing red, plain white and sea blue colors.Red and white stripes amazes us with the thirteen colonies and the white stars represents

our all 50 states.Those men and women who kept this flag high and sailing all

the time are our real heroes.

Our nation has achieved so much in research and development , education , military ,health and other spheres of life but still forget about the contributions

from these people who stood up ,when ever we need them even in their difficult

periods of time.They left their families to serve our nation even when their family needs them at that time .God bless them and their families.

These people should need respect and kindness as they have done a lot for this nation. They were always there when we needed them.I think we should honor

them as we honor our athletes ,scientists , politicians and others but it is sad that we forget them once they are retired or dead.They have contributed a lot to our freedom and nation as a whole .They need the real honor , they truly deserve.

I salute them for their contribution. That is why I call them "Real Heroes".

                  Ralph Fletcher is a good author and a good writer. I truly love his stories but I am gonna have to choose two of my best. It was hard to chose the best so I thought it very carefully.  Now  here is my best one . 
               One of the best I thought was interesting was the, "First Pen". "First Pen" was truly AMAZING! I liked how the boy described why and what he liked about his very first pen. Even though people would think getting a pen is lame while the boy think it is cool. I think the boy is not normal but different. An example of the boy would be "I stared at my BIC, the cartridge filled with blue so dark it almost it was almost black." ( Ralph Fletcher, pg.44) This piece of writing was a great story!

              Another story I loved was "Bobby" was a sad but true story. I liked this story how the person talked and described about Bobby. I really felt bad for Bobby. I hope his family still remembers him and still cares about him. An dialog that I thought was very touching,"Bending down, I grabbed him firmly under both armpits, and  he made a happy gurgling sound, like a baby's idea of a song ,as I lifted his soft little body into my arms. "( Ralph Fletcher, pg.60)  This is a very touching story.


        These stories really are AMAZING!

        Drawing is my favorite hobby since I was in 1st grade since till now. It all started in 1st  grade when this amazing girl who drew good and how I fell in love with drawing. I gotten jealous when everyone loved her drawings. I wanted to be better than her, so I started to draw the best as I can. She was still better than me. So I started to work much more harder. Everyone loved my my drawings and soon I became the artist of the class. She was still better than me. But I didn't care. Still everyone thought I was an artist.

             I didn't quit yet and I'll never ever give up drawing in my whole entire life. In 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, I entered contests about drawing. The first contest I entered in, was the most haunted and scary haunted house which I lost. And so on the other contests I joined, I lost. But I still did a great job! Plus I got good at drawing every single year! In those years, I was good at making cards and decorating. So now you know about  me about drawing!

                In this year, I joined art.Yes indeed, art! The reason why I joined it because you know how I love art so much and art is like a dream of colors, images, and full of creativity and neatness. Art is a passion of dreams and imaginations. In these days, I been making a lot of cards and making plays and being the manager for plays on special events like Christmas, Independence Day....... and I decorate things for those events. I do a lot of art, decorating,  making cards, and much more. So this was a about me and art!

       The last day of summer was kind of upset for me. I was happy to go to new school but I was sad because I hate saying goodbye to summer. On the last of summer was also exciting because my friend Namratha came back from India! At that time I talked and talked to my best friend and had a great time! I talked to her about how I missed her so much and all the things what I did while I was gone. Namratha told me how it was so boring without me with her. We both enjoyed each others talk and conversation and we both enjoyed a wonderful last day of summer and a great welcome back for Namratha!

The first day of middle school was like a dream to me. The teachers were really nice and quite impressive. The lockers were great too. The best part of Herbert Hoover Middle School is, all the fun classes like gym, french, and art. Who doesn't love one of those activities? I mostly loved lunch time because there are a lot of  choices of food that looks good!  alThis was a change from elementary school because in middle school, there are a lot of choices, a lot of people just like me, old friends, and all the news and new things going on and the new facts that I never even learned. This new school is important to me and to my friends and how I love HHMS!
