The NJASK seemed easy and comfortable for me. I believe I did much better on this one's than last year's because for some reason I think I learned more in 6th grade since we have two periods for English and everyday in class we do non-stop work and essays. I really remembered all the things I need to write in my essay and which essay was it. For example, the first essay really easy to figure it out, an persuasive essay. I knew Lall the things I need to put in there. the statistic, opposition, three reasons, thesis statement, quote, proposal, an amazing ending,... In reading while I read, I asked questions to myself along the way to understand. When I didn't knew the answer to one of the questions, I first crossed off the silly answers, then looked back in the story to answer it. For the open-ended response, I knew what I had to do. I rememered if it's a short story, add quotation marks around it. Add citations. Add three reasons. Restate the question,... Pretty simple I thought. But I know I did pretty well on the NJASK on this year than on last year.
