          Information is communicated today result in people learning more. The reason why because technology gives lots of info like, about places, history of people, what's the forecast for this week and more. And it can help you for projects, assignments, and for your homework. For instance, if you want to know more about George Washington for your biography project for social studies, you can look on the internet for more info about George Washington. Easy and simple. This reminds me of when I had to look for more info about Egypt for my project on social studies. I got amazing pictures, interesting facts, vacation destinations, their famous monuments and places, and much more. It doesn't also just give you facts, but it gives you the ability to type. For instance, you have an essay to do, you can type it. This helps you learn more by typing essays. Essays are important because it will you better in writing. Now you know why information on technology will help you learn more.

Welcome to our class, Ms. Carroll

Welcome to our class, Ms. Carroll! I am glad to introduce the class and myself. Here is a little info about me. Rashmi Dogra is my name. Washington Elementary School is the school I came from. What I like to do is, to do art such as painting, drawing, printmaking and designing and much more. I also love to play outside and hang out with my friends. Like to play sports, race, play games, bike ride and walk with my friends outside. With my friends, I like to eat, walk, draw, go over to people's houses, and have fun! In middle school so far, I like the lockers because they protect your things such as books and backpack to get stolen. In English, the most best thing I ever liked was that we get to learn something new everyday like in reading, we read new books, or in Grammer, we learn more proper Grammer that we didn't know that we make those silly mistakes while talking and writing. The bad part is that we get so much tests, and esays that we never stop. My strengths are, I good at being responsible and doing my homework right on time. My weakness is, I am not really good at English, mostly reading.

During English, the class and I do alot of Grammer everyday when we enter the classroom. We also read a book and answer questions. Then we have a test or quiz based on the grammer and the book with the questions. In writing, we have an essay to do. Sometimes when we have to say a speech, interview, or talk about something, then our English teacher, Mrs. Patalano video tapes us and then we watch it. But some things are fun. We get into groups for our book that we get assigned on. Or like we get on computers and go on different websites like Glogster,www.Coin3.com, Blogger,ect. But anyways this is about me and my class. We wish you a very good time with my class and I.

Career Goals

         Time is flying by so fast that it is time for you to get prepared for your future goals. My goal is to become a veterinarian when I pass college. I always wanted to become this because I am a animal lover meaning I love animals so much. Here is what I would want to do with animals when I am a adult. One, I would like to give healthy food for them to become healthy. Two, I would want to treat them nicely and feed them medicine when they are injured or sick. Three, to protect them from predators, poachers, or any other harm. Four, to make sure they are happy and jolly because that would make me very happy. Five, to make sure everything is OK with them! Anyways, if this did really happen, I would scream! Every time I see an animal's face, I get so excited and happy that makes me want to jump! Just like when I saw my aunt's dog for the first time, I screamed! After I got used to it, I played games, treat him nicely..... And then when I always saw her and she saw me, she always jumped up and licked my face!
        Ever since I heard of Rutgers University, a college from my previous teachers and this year's teachers have talked about, I thought about it. I said "Since my teachers say it is a good school, why not go to this school in the future." I mean the first time I heard this was in 5th grade, my teacher Miss Veluya told me about it. She said that she went there for college and told my whole class that it wasn't the easiest school to get into but it is a wonderful school of fun learning. Because of the fact that I want to become a veterinarian, I think I would be interested in going to health science. I prefer to get into the master's degree to be the best. But at the end of college, I would hope that I get to be a veterinarian so I can live my dream! But before that, I would have to take an exam. Good luck for my self in the future!
        For me, I wouldn't care where I get a job. Weather if it is out of town or out of the state, I wouldn't care at all. I just want to accomplish my dream!

New Year's Resolutions

        A new year has began that always has some improvement that people make. In 2011, my new year’s resolution is to get more improvement on English. Since I was in second grade till now, which I am in sixth grade, I still haven't improved English yet and I still continue to achieve that goal. My plan to accomplish this goal is to use my English teacher, Mrs. Patalano advices that were written on my essays, and advices that Mrs. Patalano tells in class and will try to use them in the future. If I really do accomplish my goal to get better at English, then I am glad that 2011 will be a fantastic and a wonderful year! And if I don't accomplish this goal, then I will try it next year!
