Suprise Essay

Rashmi Dogra

Sam and Joe were home from school. They both looked up at the calender and marked off their day. They saw it was there parents anniversary. Mom came home from work.

“Kids, I’m going to the super market. Love you.” mom informed.

They realized their dad is still at his office. So Sam thought of an idea for this very special day.

“ Joe, let’s surprise them. Like a very special dinner or something.” said Sam.

Joe differed. “No, let’s have a surprise party. I’ll order the food and set up the decorations.”

“ And I’ll invite the guests for the party.” Sam said.

Everything was already. The food, the decorations, the planning. But something was missing. No one of the guests arrived. Sam called everyone. Her aunt, uncle, grandparents, parent's friends, and everyone relative to her family.

“Joe, I tried all my best. Some people are busy, it’s too far away, work, and other needs. I’m sorry.” Sam frowned.

“It’s fine. We can think of a another plan. Besides, all the food and the decorations are done.” Joe explained.

Sam and Joe were thinking of a plan. But no ideas came out. They got several ideas but didn’t seem to work out. They thought about the idea of having no guests at all. But Sam thought no guests means no party.

“ We don’t need a party.” said Joe.

“ What do you mean? Party is what are parents would like.” questioned Sam.

“ We can just have a little dinner with ourselves and our parents. ” Joe said.

The door had opened. It was their parent had entered in the house. Mom and dad looked at the decorations and food. When Sam and Joe saw them, they yelled...

“ HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! ’’ Joe and Sam screamed.

Mom and dad were surprised of their hard work, So Sam and Joe took chairs for them to sit down. And that anniversary wasn’t that bad after all.

Quote

Everytime everybody should try and try until they get it right. "Fall seven times, stand up eight."(Japanese proverb) Every person should never give up. They should keep trying and trying because this tells everyone they are the best to be. Giving up means that person never tried to acheive their goal. Everyone will get it right somebody but not just anyday. A day where that person keeps trying and trying until they get it right. This relates to a personal experience that everyone has been through.
As a student, I always try to make it in to the A honor role. I never got it in for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd marking period. But I do tend to keep trying my best to get an A honor role in the 4th marking period. I got a really close to getting a A honor role in 1st marking period. In 2nd, I almost had it, 0.5 percent I needed to get the A honor role. For 3rd, I dropped. I got two B's but extremely close to getting it. I got this by trying and trying. If I gave up, I would not able to acheive one of my important goal. That would tell me that I didn't try to work hard enough for this accomplishment. But I did since I kept trying harder and harder which made me more confident. This concludes to historical figures how they never gave up and kept trying.
Martin Luther King is a historical person who never gave up. He cared about having whites and blackes equal rights. He didn't want whites to sit in front and blackes to sit in the back in the bus. And whites and blackes to go to different schools. But Martin never gave up his dream. Martin spoke to everyone that everyone should have equal rights and no one is to be offended. Don't judge a person's skin, character, or anything else. He was a person who didn't stop but he also made fair rights. Martin was a man who kept trying.
Giving up is a huge thing that someone never wants to do. Even if it's a homework assignment, test, sports, getting into honors, or anything. As a student, anyone doesn't want to give up, they want to keep trying. Also, a historical figure doesn't want to give up their huge dream. Never give up and keep trying even if it takes a long time to acheive it!

Less Homework

Teachers and parents suggest children should have more homework. This is not a best decision for our students. "I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework." by Lily Tomlin.  Timing is important for everyone. All worries will be gone with less homework. And can spend time with family and friends. It is good desicion to chose less homewrok than less homework. up really late.
Timing is important. Having a lot of homework, the students have a to stay until midnight. That means they'll have less sleep. Sleep for at least 7 or 8 hours. If they sleep for 4 hours or 6, they will all feel lazy, tired, and half-dressed! Students should have less homewrok because of the fact the time is going so quick that childern need to do other things as wellOthers might say kids need to do other studies as well. Like for there additional classes. Not only that, but clubs and activities after school. There might be practices or championship games  coming uup. Or club meetings. Timing what everyone wants and needs.
Worries will be gone when there is less homework. Having more homework, a student would have more responsibility and have to remember a lot. If there is less homework, not lot of worries. When there's more homework, the more the students have to keep track of. The less, the students can simply keep track in their head. If students are going to bring there homework home, they have to stuff it in there bookbag. The more, the more to carry which will be a pain! The less, the less to carry which will be easy! Worries will be all gone with the help of less homework.
Spending time with families and friends will change everyone's mood. Spending time with real friends makes the student get to know another student. Spending time with siblings, will help the siblings get along. And it will help each person feel comfortable from their family. It will also help the student get to know more things, stories, and other parts of their family much more better. This will change kids moods much more happier. 80% of americans don't spend time with their friends and family because of homework. The oppostion would say spending time with families and friends won't help school. They are wrong on this because it's not about school, but mostly about spending time with families and real friends!
The decision to allow more homework is not correct. Losing time is not what everyone wants. No one wants to be worried. And losing time spending with family and friends will be a tragic! Less homework should concluded in school not more homework!
