Skechers

        Skechers is a popular advertising sneaker. It's for every person. But for kids, the commercial is different. It has many different commercials for it. In one commercial, it is about a mummy with laces and a boy who saves kids from having laces. And that boy wants everyone to have skechers instead of laces. All the commercials are about a boy or a girl, and  a enemy who hates skechers. It goes from enemy attacking people to people in trouble to a boy or girl saving people by the help of  skechers.
         I like this and dislike this. What I like about this is, it has different kinds of skechers. Some glow, some are high tops, plain, colorful, glittery, and the styles and shapes are different.  I like that the sneakers include a charm with it and a comic book.  Also,it even helps your shoes stay on and wood chips won't get in your shoe.They have a lot of those shoes everywhere.What I dislike is, its too tight!!! It even is too expensive at stores and they got too old. It has been for lots of years.

College/Career Unit reflection

   The career unit took along time putting it together. We had to do our resume, job interview questions, letter of recommendation, and other sheets to fill in. In total it took about 10 hours to get it all finished. For me, the longest part was doing the resume. The quickest one was the letter of recommendation. It seemed quick doing all this, but it took a lot of time. It was easy for me. But some of the researching for the colleges were a little hard to find. I had to use tons of websites to find tons of research. Now that I am all prepared, I have to practice. During practice, I learned that I have to be serious, well-dressed, cleaned, understandable, and ready. I mostly had to practice my job interview questions. The questions were, "Why should I hire you?", "What would your past employers say, if I called them?", "Tell me about yourself."  I also learned  much more things. If you don't know an answer to a question, say " Let's go back to the question later or I am not comfortable with that question."I also learned to never say jokes. And to bring extra resumes. Speaking of resumes, the resume seemed long, easy and fun. Even the letter of recommendation seemed that way but was quick. My career unit has been helping me for my future plans for college and getting a job!

College Essay

I never liked reading books. But one I enjoy! The Series of Unfortunate Events. Violet Baudelaire, is a character I always looked up to. Violet is a smart 14 year old girl. Her parents had died in their house by fire. She has 2 siblings, Sunny, a infant and Klaus, a 10 year old boy. Violet loves to invent things. "there's always something." she says. The Life of Nikola Tesla is her favorite book. Very bright pink is her favorite color. Working with mechanical device is her #1 hobby. Skipping rocks is what she enjoys. And she is allergic to peppermints. This girl isn't lucky. Her both parents have died. And she has to live in different places every time. This is what I mean. When her parents died, she had to live with Count Olaf. Count Olaf is the antagonist of the story and he wants the Baudelaire's fortune. So now that Violet knows, so goes and moves into her other families but Count Olaf murders every guardian the Baudelaire family has. I will always admire her and she will always be on my side.
